The Chinese Qingming Festival (or Ching Ming Festival) is an important traditional Chinese holiday and one of the 24 Chinese solar terms. It is also called the Tomb-sweeping Day because the Chinese people will offer sacrifices to their ancestors and sweep the tombs of the deceased.

Al parecer, en chino simplificado se escribe 清明节
Seguramente hay algo interesante que decir de los ideogramas o las traducciones.
Actually, its origin has to do with an ancient story. It was originally established to commemorate a man called Jie Zitui, and later was commonly accepted by the society as a day to commemorate our past relatives/ancestors.
