Default Buenos Aires: Football and taxis

    Hello,

how stupid can I be? Walking 15 minutes for end of the Argentine-Brazilian game out to the street to catch a taxi. Yes, first of all should I not have left this nice, but goalless game. Anyhow, my Argentine friend left, so did I.

I ended up walking 20 blocks until I finally got a taxi. Funny enough, do Argentine forget about "Argentina-Brazil football event = no taxi", too. The streets were full with people trying to catch a cab.

    Chau / Ciao,
    Mario

The Spaniards played well and they are the only team who did not loose one match. Of course am I not happy that we did not get the Cup, but the Spaniards get it the first time after 44 (!!) years......we will get the Worldcup instead

Anyway, if you take a look at the new taxi prices here... you'd rather take a walk.

    It's insane. I paid 12 pesos for a 5 minute ride...

    I hate taxies!

I'm no football fan, so I get your words for granted, Mario...If you say the Spaniards played well, and any way after 44 years...I guess they deserve it. By the way...good luck for the World Cup
