Default Splitting tool for VOB files

Does anybody know how to split a video VOB file? I have the HJSplit that can help you split a file in chunks but only to be able to store/transfer the fragments more easily (i.e. the output is not ready to be played). Anyone has any experience with Nero? Thank you!

Hi! I used to work with WINAVI and it did just that. It works great with DVD, AVI and MPEG files.

Yes. You can tell Winavi to split the file in either "x" number of parts, or in parts no larger than 100megs, for instance.
Again, I am 100% sure this works with AVI files but I've never tried with .VOB.
There is another application called DVD Shrink that compresses DVD files. I don't know if it does the splitting part as well.

    Hope it helps!
