Thread: Lars and the real girl

Hi Everyone!

Has anyone seen this movie?

I saw it last Saturday and I thought it was really nice. It is essentially a comedy, but it has some very deep drama elements that will leave you thinking a lot. The plot is about a Man who has some psychological issues and buys a doll and believes she's real, and his family and friends have to pretend that too, in order for him to get well.

It was nominated for a couple of movie awards =)

Hi Ezequiel, I saw it a few months ago and I loved it.
I don't remember which actor was it (I think it was Anthony Hopkins) who said that Ryan Gosling ("The Notebook"!) is probably the best actor under 30 in Hollywood, and I agree!

What did you think about the ending? was is "real" enough for you? Is he "cured" just like that?

Hey, I'd love to discuss the ending and lot of other things about the movie, but I don't want to leave any spoiler for those who haven't seen it yet =P
