Hi Sandra, I agree with you, Kate Winslet's work was definitely worthy of an Oscar. I liked the movie but I was not crazy about it. I saw it right after "Revolutionary Road", another movie with Winslet that blew my mind, so I guess I was expecting more. It does have a good twist halfway through the movie, though. :-)

Hi!
I haven't seen REVOLUTIONARY ROAD yet, but I've seen THE READER and aI really liked it. It wasn't a boring movie at all.
So I guess, I'll have to watch the other one then.
