Thread: Attachments in Thunderbird

Hello all,
I'm new using Thunderbird and I usually receive lots of attachments that I have to save in a server or my desktop. In the past, with Outlook, I used to drag and drop the attachments in the desired folder. Now, with Thunderbird, I have to click on each folder of a certain path till I get to the desired folder. This is extremely time-consuming and makes me waste a lot of time.
Does anybody know a faster way to save files in Thunderbird? Something like drag and drop?

You could try copying and pasting the folder routes, after selecting "Save" or "Save all" in the Attachments section of the email...

Correct, and you can always go to Menu FILE>ATTACHMENTS>SAVE ALL... that's it.

Thank you for your replies. I was trying to find a quick way of saving files (since I have to save so many files a day), so I tried copying as pasting the route as nicolasm suggests, but for some reason it doesn't work. I copy and paste the route and then press enter but it doesn't take me to the desired folder. Do you think there might be something wrong in the installation of Thunderbird?

what worked for me, whenever there are two or more files attached, I right-click on a blank area (not on any of the files) and then the "save all" option appears.
