Thread: .properties files?

Hi Everyone...!

Does anyone know what is a .properties file? And what is it useful for? I know I can work it with tag editor.. but I dont know what do they do...

I don't know if TagEditor reads it well, though. Let me know what you find out.

I have worked with several .properties in the past.. and they go perfectly with tag editor.. Only you need to watch out for the symbols: just leave them as they are

Joselas, the .properties file is Java resource file. Usually it used for localization.
We translate the .properties files with free TM-database CAT-tool.

It's always good to know how to set correctly the .properties file. Tag Editor does a good job, but sometimes a .ini is required.

Yes, I've worked many times .properties files in Tag Editor and it works great. As far as I remember, no special ini was needed.
