Yes there is.
See more details here:
MetaTexis and Trados compatibility check list
Very interesting:
"Is MetaTexis compatible with Trados?
❶ You can import and export Trados translation memories (MetaTexis supports tmx and Trados export format).
❷ You can import and export Trados termbases (MetaTexis supports tmx and txt export).
❸ You can import and export Trados bilingual rtf files (If there are no footnotes, there are no problems. If there are footnotes, one needs to take care. The problem is that TRADOS deals with footnotes in a strange way).
❹ You can import and export Trados bilingual ttx files
❺ MetaTexis can even provide Trados-like Analysis."
Has anyone used it? Is it worth trying?
Hi! Isn't MetaTexis called OmegaT?
Two different softwares. Metatexis is not free. It is a macro for MS Word like Wordfast or Trados Workbench (I find that very limited). OmegaT is free and Open Source and it doesn't work with the original file, they extract the text from the original files. It is more like Deja Vu or Idiom Wordserver.Originally Posted by Veronica

It is definetely worth trying. However, more complex than Trados as there are many more detailed settings. I love the on-the-fly terminology replacement (when you open a translation unit, you can set it to automatically have the terms translated).Originally Posted by Nadia D
