Thread: Bidi content

Hi Santiago,
Thank you for explain. So, the space between the base of a letter and the mark that completes it causes the difference. It's kind of a problem because readers see a letter know as one letter, not as a base letter with a diacritic.
I can't solve it, but I understand it at least.

Gentle, do you know how do Illustrator handle bidi content? I've always had problems dealing with Illustrator files and RTL docs.

I bet you are MS Word heavy-users, and for that Word has to buttons you can easily add to your ribbon by using the Options menu, clicking on the item on how to customize your ribbon, selecting to show "all commands" from the pull-down, and simply scrolling down until you come across two different options "RTL run" and "LTR run." I just tried to use this RTL run tool with a powerpoint file in hebrew, and unfortunately, I couldnt find it in "options". I had to copy/paste the text in Word, run the RTL Run and paste it back in ppt. It worked just perfect. Luckily, it was a short text.
However, for bigger files, how could I import this tool in ppt?

Nabyl, If you click on Options and Customize Ribbon, it should show you a left-to-right and another right-to-left command...
