Thread: Subtitling - Studio DVD Pro and SubViewer

Hi All! I assume I´m beginning this thread in the right place as it mentions the use of "tools" for translating in different languages. This time I am posting a question about Studio DVD Pro. Does anyone know if the *.sub format for subtitling (created with SubViewer or Subtitle Workshop for example) is compatible with Studio DVD Pro?

There might be a SUB version supported by DVD Studio Pro, but I'm not sure. For sure, the formats supported by this software are:
[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,'Trebuchet MS',sans-serif,Georgia,Courier,'Times New Roman',serif]• STL: The Spruce Technologies subtitle format
• SON: The Sonic Solutions bitmap-based format
• TXT: Texto Plano
• SCR: The Daiken-Comtec Laboratories Scenarist bitmap-based format[/FONT]
