Hi Adam, You were probably wondering why PMs put an extra BD when it comes to projects in Urdu. Indeed, a project into Urdu, or arabic, or any RTL language must have a final proofreading outside CATTools, done by a native. If you take the time zone difference into account, it explains why you get such TATs.

Nabyl, that was always a doubt I had thanks for clearing that up. Does the DTP on these types of projects also take longer than left to right languages? Or is is just the additional proofreading and time zone difference?

DTP doesn't take much longer because it's a RTL language. It would if the file is an Indesign file, or quark for instance.... Indeed, depending on the amount of changes the proofreader woud see, DTP would have to implement those changes into those IDML or quark files. It's not like re-doing DTP, but still, it takes time.
