Thanks for letting us know about this course. I have never worked for this international organization but I know of a friend who is making huge efforts to be hired by the United Nations. She applied last year and made it to the exam but did not pass, so this course might be of great help to her for she wants to give it another shot. Thanks a lot!
Is your friend able to provide some tips from her experience?
I only know that she had to sit for like 4 to 5 hours to complete the written examination. Results were given after 6 months and very few passed. These exams are taken every two years or so...Has anyone attended the seminar at the Colegio de Traductores so as to give us more tips about translating for the United Nations?
i thought those exams were held more often... anyway, has anyone on this forum attended it?
Where else are these seminars/tests held in the world?
