Default Tag editor & Power Point

    Hello everyone!

I have a problem and I hope someone knows what to do..
I translated a powerpoint using Tag editor and it turned out that the powerpoint had a Master page with some logos and colors. When I finished my translation and exported the tag editor file into the powerpoint, everything that was in that Master page was missing. I had to copy and paste each Master page (142 pages). My client says that Tag editor should have recognized the Master page and that I have a bug in my program. Do you know if he's right, or if tag editor just doens't recognize the Master page??

    Thank you!!!!

Hi Maria Laura! from my experience, Master pages are read by TagEditor correctly, BUT, if your client's PPT version is 2007 and yours is 2003, there could be some trouble. Master pages and editable images, among others, have been reported to behave oddly when there is conflict of PPT versions.

Why did you have to copy the Master page 142 times? Wasn't there any chance to just modify the new Master page instead?

    Hi María Laura,

Did you have to divide the file for any reason?

Well yeah.. Actually I did... I had to split the file into 5 parts.. so I copied and pasted the slides in different batches.

When you copied the slides you might have forgotten to copy the Master slides as wells. I recommend that when you have to split a ppt and you're not sure of whether it has master slides or not, you just delete the ones you don't want in that batch instead of copying and pasting the slides in a new file.

Hey Guys! Btw...have you noticed that whenever there are Master slides the number is different if you open a PPT 2003 format with either 2003 or 2007?
