Hello everyone, I am Cory and new to the forum. I need help translating some English to Portuguese. I don't want to use an online translator because it's English poetry, and I think it will need some personal feelings and ideas in order to translate more accurately to the meaning of the poetry, rather than the literal translations that computers tend to provide. I tried asking on yahoo answers and no one replied. Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me. Here are the words to the poem. If you have any questions let me know and I can help with the understanding from the English side, because I know this poem really well.
How should we be able to forget those ancient myths that are at the beginning of all peoples, the myths about dragons that at the last moment turn into princesses;
perhaps all the dragons of our lives are princesses who are only waiting to see us once so beautiful and brave. Perhaps everything terrible is in its deepest being something helpless that wants help from us. So you must not be frightened; if a sadness rises up before you larger than you have ever seen; if a restiveness, like light and cloud shadows, passes over your hands and over all you do. You must think that something is happening with you, that life has not forgotten you, that it holds you in its hand; it will not let you fall...
Also, in case it's important, my daughter speaks Brazilian Portuguese.
Thank you again, so much!
