Thread: InNeed these 3 sentences translated correctly from Portuguese

Hello everyone, I'm new here.

I have a very important text that needs to be translated from Portuguese (Brazillian) into Serbian, and then I should translate it from Serbian into English.

I gave the text to a professional translator (he calls himself a pro, but I doubt he is). Although I don't know Portuguese I can see some major mistakes and in some cases the meaning was probably not conveyed at all. To make sure that I'm not mistaken about this translator, can someone please translate these 3 sentences in Portuguese into English. I would be very grateful!

1. Mas, como nós temos nossos informantes, a Holcim também os tem, como é o caso de um informante de dentro da FEAM que passa para os laboratórios da Holcim todos os cálculos e níveis de emissões, que convém ao licenciamento ambiental para a Holcim preencher os requisitos.

2. Na revista Ciência & Saúde Coletiva, a FIOCRUZ cita o seguinte: “estudos indicaram que, embora as empresas não estivessem respeitando a legislação ambiental, nenhuma havia sido obrigada a interromper suas atividades.

3. No início do mês de agosto um informante de dentro da fábrica (outra fonte, totalmente independente da primeira), fotografa no pátio da fábrica pombas, com as patas atrofiadas e impossibilitadas de andar. Dias depois elas morreram.

At the Ciência & Saúde Coletiva (Science & Public Health) magazine, FIOCRUZ quotes the following: "...studies showed that, even though these companies were not complying to environmental regulations, none of them was forced to cease operations."
