    Can anyone help me my ex husband divorced me in spain last year and everything i was sent was in Spanish I am English so did not really understand the legal things and just happy to be divorce but in this country you are given a Decree Absolute Paper with both names ect ect
    well i dont know if i have this as once again i dont really no what spanish decree absolute looks like but i need to prove that i am divorce in England and i dont really know what to do if any one can help i would be grateful and tell me what i should be looking for on the paper

    I think you should translate your Divorce papers with a legal translator.
    Anyone suggests anything simpler?

    Well... Perhaps you could write here what are some of your doubts, but if you don't understand any of the things it says... In that case, analaura is right... I think the best thing you can do, to be sure, is to have it all translated...

    You should definitely have the lawyer send it to you in English. You have a right to read a contract in your native language. Until then, if you have a text file with the contract, you can run it through the Spanish translation tool from SpanishDict.com. It has three translators (including Google) so that you can compare the translations and find the best option. Comparing the three results lets you really analyze the word usage, word order, etc. I wouldn’t translate anything without a comparison.
