Thread: I need urgent revision on translation:"para demostrar parentesco..."

Good morning,

I would greatly appreciate revision on the following English translation at bottom of a birth certificate:

Source text in Spanish reads:"PARA DEMOSTRAR PARENTESCO ART.115 DECRETO DE LEY 1260 OF 1970. ESTE REGISTRO TIENE VALIDEZ PERMANENTE."

Draft English translation:"THIS BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS ISSUED IN VIRTUE OF ARTICLE 115, LAW DECREE 1260 OF 1970, THIS ENTRY IS PERMANENTLY VALID".

Hi everyone, So far, I've come up with:

"...to show proof of parenthood."
"...to show kinship at request of ...."

"...to establish identity of a registrant...."
"...to establish legal paternity..." (not thrilled about this one)

Any help or suggestion will be great!
