    Question boy drop

En un ensayo de fármaco en animales que murieron por dosis letal dice:

"Adverse clinical signs included body drop and congestion of internal organs an appeared to be test-article related.

    ¿Se trata de decaimiento?

The strange thing is that I did a little searching to familiarize myself with what "body drop" means exactly and I came up with pickup trucks and professional wrestling...if "moonshine" could incorporate the term, then we would have the Holy Trinity of the Southern US all using body drop at some point.

    Carmen,

To me, it suggests the middle section of the animal (body) was hanging (sagging or dropping) lower than normal. Possibly due to weakness from illness or increased weight from congested internal organs.

I have to say I agree with ScottJ.
I've also done some research, since I specialize in med and sci translations and I had never come across this term in my life.
I've also found stuff about trucks and asphalt...
My conclusion is that it's a bad translation from some other language into English.

I wonder if it refers to a drop in body temperature. Does it appear anywhere else in your document?
