Thread: Bagoneta or Vagoneta

I can't figure out if the slang my granddaddy used to tell me was Bagoneta or Vagoneta. It basically means slacker or lazy person. He also used to tell us, "anda a laburar al puerto," which basically means go work on the docks I think. Anyway, it's my user name, so if it's incorrect I'd like to know.

Almost forgot, I'm specifically referring to Argentinian or South American slang.

This yahoo answer refers to a word, "Bago," which basically means lazy person but it is Dominican, not Argentinian or S. American.

And this link is to a specifically Argentinian slang website which lists a word, "bagarto," which is defined as follows:

bagarto [m] 1 alt. form of bagayo; 2 [rare] a burden, a problem left on one's hands, used e. g. of hospital patients who are dumped in E. R. in a very bad condition.
