Can anyone tell me what the Mexican word güerita means??

I think I've heard light skinned ladies been called that by Mexican men before. I don't believe it is derogatory but is meant as a compliment.

Se le llama "güerita" a una persona, en este caso una mujer, que tiene la piel de color clara o de tez clara.

De acuerdo con lo anterior, solo añado que se refiere sobretodo a la tez blanca, el cabello tirando a rubio y/o ojos de color claro. Igual se usa para mujeres que para hombres (güero) y no es derogatorio en absoluto, incluso tiene o puede tener un sentido afectuoso.
