Default 3 Things you probably didn't know about spanish

    Did you know?

*That Spanish is No. 3 among the more than 5,000 languages spoken in the world today. Only the languages of China and India are spoken by more native speakers. Even English take a back seat to Spanish with 330 million native speakers in the world, compared to 346 million for Spanish.

*Census projections show that Spanish’s trend toward survival and adaptation will only continue to grow. According to 2012 U.S. Census estimates, the U.S. will be the country with the most Spanish speakers in the world by 2050.

*Today, Spanish is spoken widely as a first or second language in 44 countries across the globe by approximately 500 million people, or 15% of the world’s population. In terms of total native speakers, on a global scale, Spanish ranks second, ahead of English at 328 million and behind Chinese at 1.2 billion speakers.

I don't think that Spanish is so easy to learn. Actually, many people find it quite difficult.

Easy to learn the basics, hard to learn completely.

If I learned Spanish, it had to be relatively easy. Any language is hard to learn completely. I'm still learning English after a lifetime as a native speaker.

What I found nice about Spanish is that it has definite rules on spelling and pronunciation, unlike English, which, to me, has to be one of the most confusing of all.
