I'm afraid the part in Spanish has serious mistakes. You should confirm it first with this person.

Reminder is correct. It is poorly written but as best as I can tell this is the gist of it:
"I was calling you but I don't know why the call didn't go through. I here in rio grande . My telephone (works?) here too...I went to visit (or say hello) to your mother."

Couldn't decipher "jala", but the rest is what Vincente wrote. Just one thing, "I am here in Rio Grande".

Yes, I agree with vicente as well. Probably it is full of mistakes because it seems to be a text message.

Hi danielm, in Mexico they use "jala" as a modismo to say something functions, or not. "No jala el televisador"; "No jala el carro"; "el motor jala";Originally Posted by danielm
