Default As much as I should have

    Hi there,

I'm a bit stumped on how to translate this sentence and would really appreciate any help

i didnt study as much as I should have.

im leaning towards something like .... No estudié tanto como lo debería haber hecho. It just feels wrong to finish with haber. Am I on the right track?

thanks in advance for any insight you can offer me.

Actually its pretty accurate what you did there... If you want it to shorten a bit and make ir a little bit more clear you can use "No estudie tanto como deberia". Keeps the same meaning

Sweet and would debiera be better given that it didn't happen or would you colloquially tend to go for debería? (sorry for all the questions just trying to get my head around it )

Actually you need to know when this person is saying that phrase.. If it is saying as he's having the exam or whatsoever he was being tested in, or if its saying it after it.
If its talking as right now, i'll put debiera... But if is something that has already pass i'll put deberia.
But, in way is correct. It sounds more... Erhmm... Nice(? with deberia.

It's perfectly correct. Good learning. For translation service, you can take help of ATA certified translation service providers.
