    Default What does "Abatatar" mean?

My friend Jorge told me "Tenia que definir la primera palabra que aparece en el diccionario y me abataté tanto que me fui de ahí". What did he mean?

My friend is from Argentina. So I'm guessing it's used as slang in that country. I'm not sure if other Spanish speaking countries use it as well though.

Well Adam, abatatar is a Portuguese term as well, but the meaning is to make a shape like a potato.

In fact Portuguese and Spanish have lots of similar words but with different meanings.

Make a shape like a potato?? They have a verb for that in Spanish and Portuguese? How very strange!
