Thread: Creating AutoSuggest dictionaries in Trados 2009

Hi!
Is anyone familiar with this feature in Trados 2009? I go to Tools and Generate Autosuggest Dictionary but I'm stuck there because I cannot select a TM for the program to use, for some reason it does not recognize the file.

Marielaer, I think you are having problems to generate an Autosuggest Dictionary because the TM must have, at least, 25,000 translations units.
These are the steps:
Go to Tools, then select Generate Autosuggest Dictionary and add the TM you want to use to create the dictionary (which, as I have already said, must have 25,000 translation units). The TM formats may be .sdltm or .tmx. Once you have opened the TM, confirm the language pair. You can add different types of filters, if necessary. And this is it!! After completing all these steps, SDL Trados Studio will generate the Autosuggest Dictionary.
