Thread: SDL Multiterm help, please!!

I am starting to use Trados and Multiterm. I have installed Multiterm, and created a new Termbase from scratch. However, that completed, when I try to create new entries, pressing F3, or the new entry button, I simply get a new tab which is completely blank with no fields to fill in, or anything to interact with.

Am I not seeing something very obvious? Or is there something wrong with my installation? If you hit F3, what should you see?

What I remember, (it's long since I last used Multiterm) is that you create a termbase to import the content, not to create on a empty termbase...
I used to create the key terms in an excel sheet, and then create the mdb file to import later on to the termbase.
Have you tried anything else?

Hi, thanks for the help! It turned out to be a problem with Java! Multiterm 2011 doesn't work with Java 45, so I had to uninstall that version of Java and install Java 25 instead. Works okay now. Thanks again!!
