Try this link that fmaria posted. It's working fine, just click on the option "Download now with File Factory Basic".

I have bought an old and very cheap version of TRADOS 5. I want to learn, but not spend DKK7000.00 only to discover that the learning curve is steeper than I can handle. So far, that seems an extraordinarily prudent move on my part, for I cannot even understand the so-called tutorial

Do NOT get Trados. It's full of bugs, often doesn't work and is very difficult to learn. There is very little information provided by the company on how to use it. Unless you're a company like Xerox or Microsoft with an account worth millions they don't want to know you. There are better programs out there for much less (if not free) download the trial and see for yourself how terrible it is. Trados is a complete rip off.
