Thread: How to translate colors in French?

Hi,
I was wondering how to translate the following two colors in French:
Grey copper
Violet fog

I was thinking maybe:
Gris cuivré
Mauve brouillard

One more to add to my previous question: What is the difference between "mauve" and "violet"?

To find a parallel with Spanish, would it be the same between "Morado" and "Violeta"?

I think it should be "malva o orquídea".
Btw, I found the complete violet family just in case anyone is interested

Wow man, that's crazy!!! When I was a child we only knew 7 colors. And we were really happy!
