Default Can somebody correct this short text for me?

The main problem is that I don't understand everything in spanish. If someone could correct my mistakes and explain waht is wrong, that would be nice.

To stroll through the Albaicín means to make a trip to its Moorish roots as well as it means enjoyment for all the senses. Going all over its labyrinths of narrow streets scented by the smell of jasmine, contemplating gardens of los carmenes (typical homes in Albaicín) or matching up aromatic tea with delicious Arabian pastry – those are the experiences that a tourist cannot miss. The ivy and bougainvillea are hanging at whitewash walls. From within, beautiful backyards, vegetable gardens and fruit trees change los carmenes into small farmsteads, where is wasted the luxuriance and the colour which is present in all streets.

    Thanks!

P.S. The most difficult part is bolded.

Hi! The translation is quite good. I've always read hiedras instead of yedras. In the bold sentence, you have to say ellos, because it's referring to jardines, that is masculine. The correct way of writing exuberancia is exhuberancia. Last sentence means that there are not only plants and flowers on the streets, but also in the streets hanging from the windows. I hope this helps!

May I offer a slightly different version in order to give more fluidity in English:

To stroll through the Albaicín is to take a trip to its Moorish roots while giving pleasure to all the senses. To pass through the labyrinth of narrow, jasmine perfumed streets, to examine the gardens of los carmenes (typical homes in Albaicín) or to pair aromatic tea with delicious Arabian pastry – are experiences that a tourist should not miss. Ivy and bougainvillea hang from whitewashed walls and from within, beautiful backyards, vegetable gardens and fruit trees turn los carmenes into small farmsteads, and give way to an exuberance of color throughout all its streets.
