Going all over its labyrinths of narrow streets scented by the smell of jasmine, contemplating gardens of los carmenes (typical homes in Albaicín) or matching up aromatic tea with delicious Arabian pastry – those are the experiences that a tourist cannot miss. The ivy and bougainvillea are hanging at whitewash walls.From within, beautiful backyards, vegetable gardens and fruit trees change los carmenes into small farmsteads, where is wasted the luxuriance and the colour which is present in all streets.
